Design of any air conditioning, refrigeration or ventilation system is based on a variety of applications, which is a vast subject. Many informative theoretical works exist, but the practical experiences of practicing engineers are largely not available.

As a company, Voltas has acquired a very rich wealth of such practical experience and has incorporated it in its training manual. The manual is used for updating practicing engineers of the company as well as the new entrants from engineering colleges.

New entrants undergo a structured technical training program of a month's duration. An in-house faculty consisting of practicing engineers and managers act as the training facilitators. The training program also encompasses visits to project sites and the manufacturing works.
