VOW demonstrates loving through giving

In association with Kherwadi Social Welfare Association (KSWA) and Yuva Parivartan, Voltas Organization of Women sponsored and helped set up a medical camp in Mumbai. It was an apt demonstration of loving through giving on St Valentine's Day.

KSWA is a 75-year old NGO providing service to slum dwellers in education, healthcare and vocational training, founded by Shri Balasaheb Kher, the first premier of Mumbai.

With two general physicians, a pediatrician and a dentist in attendance, 209 patients arrived to avail of the check-up and treatment facilities. Additionally, 19 students of the Para Medical Nursing Course volunteered to help in registration and dispensation.

In a similar spirit, a Blood Donation Camp was held at Prathama Blood Centre in Ahmedabad, on 16th April.
