RWTUV re-certifies Voltas electro-mechanical business for ISO 9001:2000

Voltas electro-mechanical business successfully cleared the re-certification audit conducted by TWTUV at HO Mumbai, Branch office at Abu Dhabi, and a project site at Doha, for ISO 9001:2000 standards.

To facilitate easy access across all overseas locations, the business's Quality Management System Manuals (Apex and Procedure Manuals) were put on-line.

The scope of the Quality Management System covers design, engineering, procurement, construction, service & maintenance, project management and marketing of Mechanical, Electrical & Public Health projects.

The re-certification is expected to help the business in its efforts to grow as a globally significant entity, and to achieve planned progress in implementing the Tata Business Excellence Model.
