Voltas notched a major feat by securing an order from Tata Motors, Pune, for a KAPP Gear Grinding Machine (model KX300P), against competition of the highest horsepower.

The breakthrough marks KAPP’s first India installation, and promises to impact favourably on other automobile manufacturers switching over to gear grinding for better fuel efficiency and reduced gear noise.
