Voltas-brand Materials Handling equipment is designed and manufactured at our integrated plant at Thane, certified for ISO9001:2000. In-house manufactured products include diesel forklifts, heavy-duty diesel forklifts, battery forklifts, cranes, reach stackers and power pallet trucks.

The Design Cell incorporates the most advanced CAD and solid modeling software, running on high-powered workstations…as well as the innovation and imagination of a talented design team.

Voltas’ demanding standards are sustained throughout an excellent vendor base in Mumbai/Thane and other locations in India, as well as several global sourcing points in China, Europe and USA. Voltas makes an ongoing effort to maintain and grow vendor quality, with vendor meets twice a year, and assistance in qualifying for ISO certification.

Most importantly, Voltas has a priceless knowledge base built up over decades, on a foundation of technological collaboration: with Yale & Town (USA), Lancer Boss Forklifts (UK), P&H-Terex (USA) and Loedige (Germany).
