Community service

Students of Joseph Cardijn Technical Institute visit Voltas' Thane works

Since 2001, Voltas has partnered with the Joseph Cardijn Technical Institute (JCTI) for vocational training. As its 'core competency project', Voltas conducts a certificate course in air conditioning in coordination with the Institute.

10 students of JCTI, in the categories of 'Voltas RAC mechanics' and 'Defence', visited Voltas' Thane works, where they viewed a detailed presentation on the entire range of HVAC and refrigeration products manufactured at our Thane, Dadra and Pantnagar plants. They were also awestruck witnesses to the manufacture of huge Vapour Absorption Machines.
