Voltas launches 1.5T power pallet truck

Voltas’ battery-operated pallet truck is meant for handling and horizontally transporting palletized loads in warehouses. The truck is very operator-friendly, and can be maneuvered in small aisle widths. A spring-loaded drive unit enables driving over uneven surfaces. Other special features are:

Drive train:
completely enclosed oil-lubricated gearbox and drive wheel
Sepex traction motor
electromagnetic brakes
spring suspension for positive ground contact and traction

Sepex controls:
MOSFET controller (microprocessor based) for smooth jerk free operation.
no forward / reverse contactors
regenerative braking – conserves energy

All controls from tiller handle:
forward / reverse travel through butterfly switches
lift/lower operation via push-button switches
soft start option for smooth jerk-free lifting

Safety features:
belly button switch for operator’s safety
battery discharge indicator displaying status of charge
stand-on platform for operator
