|Voltas launches next-generation 'All Star' ACs, All-Weather Smart ACs, and new Fresh-Air Coolers
Voltas reasserted its brand leadership in room ACs with the launch of its new All Star AC range, with the core value proposition of Run 2 ACs at the cost of 1. Its various features and benefits include • its steady cool compressor which yields uniform cooling, for greater energy-efficiency resulting in more savings for consumers • extremely quiet operation • high ambient cooling • and advanced air purifier.
The launch includes the new range of All-Weather Smart ACs, consisting of Wi-Fi enabled ACs, integrating the following features • Smart Access, allowing operation from anywhere and any time through one's smartphone via a local Wi-Fi or GPRS connection, using a mobile app with a revamped look and feel • Smart Sense, which detects external weather conditions and adapts to the changing environment without manual intervention • and Smart Analytics, to keep tabs on energy usage, consumption trends and the monthly consumption limit.
Expanding its horizons, the company has extended its offerings by introducing its new range of Voltas Fresh-Air Coolers with the core value proposition of Taazi thandi hawa ko ghar bulao (Invite home a fresh air breeze). The key product benefits include double filtration technology with a combination of honeycomb cooling pads and dust filter, which removes dust particles and sediments, and yields cool, filtered air to the consumer.
The lineup has been augmented from 3 models in 2015 to 11 models, i.e. 7 desert coolers (mechanical & electronic), 3 personal coolers and 1 window cooler in 2016, which encompass the key consumer segments.
