Voltas wins client's kudos for racing to the finish at Yas Marina F1

Yet again, Voltas added to its flawless record of timely delivery, by completing its Yas Marina Formula One circuit project in Abu Dhabi well in time for its inaugural 'Grand Prix weekend' on 1st November 2009.

The Voltas team won a trophy of its own – a highly complimentary and appreciative letter (quoted below) from the Chairman of Aldar Properties, developers of the entire Yas Island holiday wonderland off the coast of Abu Dhabi.

Voltas had supplied, installed, tested and commissioned • Ventilation & Air Conditioning systems, including 52 km of chilled water piping • Building Management System • Electricals for mechanical works • Fire fighting system • Domestic cold and hot water distribution system • Sophisticated vacuum drainage system, unique in the Middle East, all covering numerous grandstands, buildings, towers, structures and facilities around the circuit.

As the letter indicates, the inaugural was a 'resounding success', and the client looks forward to 'strengthening of this constructive working relationship' in 'further residential and leisure developments' – adding up to quite a 'Grand Prix' for Voltas.
