President of Voltas Electro-Mechanical business to head industry apex body

A K Joshi, President of Voltas’ Electro-Mechanical Projects & Service business, has been elected president of RAMA (Refrigeration & Airconditioning Manufacturers’ Association), India’s only apex body for manufacturers in the industry.

RAMA is an active force and influence in issues ranging from government policy to customer focus and trade. A particular recent focus area has been product upgradation for more eco- friendliness and energy-saving, meshing with Voltas’ own focus in that area, and its fast-growing leadership in ‘Green’ technologies.
