Mr. Sanjay Johri is now Voltas Managing Director

Mr.  Sanjay  Johri  has  taken  over  as Managing Director of VoltasLimited on  23rd April 2010.

Mr.  Johri  has  worked  with  Voltas  since  2004,  initially in the corporate  area,  and  thereafter  as  COO  of  the  Unitary Products Business  Group,  the  Materials  Handling Division, and the Mining & Construction  Equipment  Division. He was promoted to the position of President  in  October  2008,  with additional responsibility for the international Operations Business Group.

One  of  his  most  significant  contributions  at Voltas has been to greatly improve performance and profitability of the Unitary Products business,  by implementing a ‘lean, productive and flexible’ business model. With his keen marketing expertise and customer insight, he has helped  grow the Voltas AC brand to a leadership position and sustain it in a highly competitive market.

Prior   to   joining  Voltas,  Mr.  Johri  had  been  with  the  Tata Administrative  Service since June 1975, and subsequently worked with Indian Hotels Co. Ltd., Tata Press Ltd., and RDI Print and Publishing Ltd.
