Largest order ever for Voltas’ textile machinery

The company recently secured a massive order from the Ludhiana-based Abhishek Group for an array of spinning equipment. This includes a Melange unit of 30,000 spindles, one OE Preparatory unit, and two units of 75,000 spindles each for spinning locations in Punjab and Madhya Pradesh.

The order is a sizeable triumph for Voltas, and a huge step towards the Abhishek Group’s vision of expanding its spinning capacity to 7.5 lakh spindles by FY2013.
