Shipping And Delivery Policy


Capitalized terms used herein shall have the meaning ascribed to them in the ‘Terms of Useand ‘Privacy Notice 

 

At Voltas Limited (together with its affiliates, joint ventures, and subsidiaries, “Voltas”,We”,Us”, or “Our), We strive to ensure that Your Order reaches You in a timely and efficient manner. This policy outlines the terms and conditions that will apply to the purchase of Voltas delivery service. By placing an Order with Us, You, agree to the terms set forth in this policy. Please review the information below to understand Our practices regarding shipping times, delivery options, charges, and related matters. 

 

1. Correct Address of Recipient 

The delivery and fulfillment of Your Order is carried out by various delivery partners. You must provide Us with complete and accurate delivery address information. Customer(s) should provide details of the address that Your Order is going to and the name of the recipient. We will not be liable for the delivery of Your Order as a result of You supplying Us with incomplete or inaccurate information.  

 

2. Shipment and Delivery 

We deliver the products within the territory of India only. Voltas and its delivery partners reserve the right to restrict delivery to specific locations or delivery facilities. The ordered products will be shipped to the address provided by You at or before the time of placing of the Order. Please ensure that You inspect the package/shipment as soon as it is delivered. In case of any physical damage to the outer or inner packing, You can either refuse to accept delivery or accept delivery only after putting a suitable remark on the proof of delivery receipt document. Voltas retains the right to withhold refund/replacement of the damaged product if You fail to put a note about the nature of damage on the delivery receipt confirmation slip. 3. Completion of Deliver 

  1.  Delivery will be completed when the product is delivered to the address chosen by You as specified when placing Your Order. Different parts of Your Order may be delivered on different dates as confirmed in Your Confirmation Email or as otherwise communicated to You (such dates being estimates only). If You receive notification of a failed delivery attempt, it is Your responsibility to use the details provided by the delivery partner for re-delivery. Efforts will be made to deliver Your product according to the details specified in Your Order.
  2. Some products may not be delivered to certain locations or destinations (due to limitations imposed on the product itself or by the destination as there are certain pin codes which are not serviceable by our delivery partners). You can check on the serviceability of a pin code on our Product Display Page on the Platform(s). If a pin code is not serviced by Us/delivery partner, You will not be able to place an Order on Our Platform(s). Voltas reserves the right, at any time, to suspend or cancel the delivery of any product that cannot be legally delivered to You. 

 

 4. Delivery of Large or Bulky Products 

You understand that delivery of large and/or bulky products to the address provided by You depends upon the availability of reasonable means of delivery to the specified address. At times, the delivery of Your Order to Your address shall depend upon the availability of a passage and/or staircases or lift/elevator of reasonable dimensions to deliver the product without damaging the product and/or its packaging. If the delivery cannot be completed to the specified address for a reason mentioned above, then the delivery partner will attempt to complete the delivery to a reasonable location on the ground floor of the premises of the delivery address provided by You. You understand and agree that a delivery completed in the manner specified hereinabove to a location on the ground floor of Your premises shall be considered to be a complete and successful delivery and all risk and liability related to such product shall transfer to You upon completion of the delivery of the product in such a manner.  

 

5. Delivery Delay 

The dates given on Platform(s) checkout are estimates only. The estimated time of delivery is provided for Your convenience only, based on historical data of the time taken for deliveries to be completed to Your location. Delivery timeframes depend on Your delivery address. We will make every effort to deliver Your Order within the estimated timescales. You understand that the time required for delivery is subject to multiple factors that can cause a delay, including but not limited to availability of the product, weather conditions, distance from warehouse, government rules, regulations and orders, among others. Voltas and its delivery partner(s) shall not be liable for any delay in the shipment or delivery of any product, package or Order for any reason, regardless of whether such a delay could be reasonably foreseen, regardless of whether Voltas was informed of the possibility of such delay, and regardless of whether any loss or damage was faced by You or any third party as a result of such a delay.  

 

6. Delivery Errors 

  1.  If a product is lost in transit or delivered to an incorrect address, please contact Us immediately at the details provided in Clause 9. Voltas will take all reasonable steps to ensure that You receive Your Order. 
  2. If the delivery of the ordered product is not available to Voltas in a commercially reasonable manner, Voltas may, at its sole discretion, cancel the product or Order and refund the amount paid by You for such product(s), subject to our Cancellation and Refund Policy and Return/Replacement and Refund policy (as applicable).
  3. If the address provided by You at the time of placing of the Order does not exist or cannot be found, or if no one is available to receive delivery of the Order despite multiple delivery attempts (3 attempts). 

 

 7. Missing Accessories 

If a product is missing accessories prior to its delivery to You, You must contact Voltas within 48 (forty-eight) hours of receipt of the product, post which Voltas shall not be liable for any missing accessories. Voltas will make reasonable efforts to investigate the request with delivery provider and accordingly provide support, where possible. However, this does not constitute an obligation to act or guarantee resolution.
